How to Find Middlebury, VT

 




Middlebury is 34 miles south of Burlington, 106 miles south of Montreal, 200 miles west of Boston,125 miles north of Albany, and 265 miles north of New York City.

If you choose to fly, Burlington International Airport is 50 minutes from campus and is served by American, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, Northwest, United, and USAirways. Taxi service between Middlebury and Burlington is available.

Boston - Approximately 4 hours. Check 'em off as you go!

    ____ Leave Boston and get to 93N

    ____ Take 93 North to Concord, NH

    ____ Get on 89 North towards Lebanon, NH

    ____ Take 89 North to Exit 3, VT-107 West

    ____ At the bottom of the exit, turn right onto VT-107 West

    ____ Follow 107 to Route 100

    ____ Route 100 to Hancock 

    ____ In Hancock turn onto Route 125 W

    ____ Turn right onto Route 7 North when 125 ends.  This will take you into the town of Middlebury.

      ____ After you pass in front of the Middlebury Inn, a big brick building, you will turn onto Route 30 South towards Cornwall, VT.  

    ____ Take route 30 through town (don't blink) and follow it about a mile.  It is easy to locate the fieldhouse - there is a graveyard across the street.  There is also a huge white 'bubble' building by a parking lot just past the fieldhouse. 

You can park in front of the "Bubble" and Kenyon Ice Arena. The natatorium is located in the same building.





Burlington International Airport

    ____ Exit left from the airport parking area and follow signs to I-189

    ____ From I-189, take Route 7 South to the town of Middlebury.

    ____ Look for a large white church on your right and turn right following signs to Route 30 South.

    ____ Take route 30 through town (don't blink) and follow it about a mile.  It is easy to locate the fieldhouse - there is a graveyard across the street.  There is also a huge white 'bubble' building by a parking lot just past the fieldhouse. 

You can park in front of the "Bubble" and Kenyon Ice Arena. The natatorium is located in the same building.




Montreal
- 2.5 hours South.

    ____ Canadian 133 Sud to I-89 South

    ____ Follow I-89 South to I-189 South

    ____ In Burlington, VT get onto Route 7 South


    ____ Take 7 South to Middlebury

    ____ Turn right onto Route 30 South

    ____ Take route 30 through town (don't blink) and follow it about a mile.  It is easy to locate the fieldhouse - there is a graveyard across the street.  There is also a huge white 'bubble' building by a parking lot just past the fieldhouse.

New York City via Albany
- NYC is 5 hours, Albany is 2.5 hours.
87N Exit 20 to 149E to 4E to 30N.

    ____ 87 North to Exit 20 (149 East)

    ____ Take 149 East to Fort Ann

    ____ In Fort Ann, turn left onto Route 4 East

    ____ Take Route 4 East to Whitehall, then to Vermont (don't get on 22 in Whitehall!)

    ____ Take Exit 4 (Route 30) in Vermont

    ____ At the bottom of the exit turn Left onto Route 30 North.

    ____ Follow Route 30 North to Middlebury.

    ____ The fieldhouse / natatoriums are on the right before you get into Middlebury, just past the golf course. It is easy to locate the fieldhouse - there is a graveyard across the street.  There is also a huge white 'bubble' building by a parking lot just after the golf course.

You can park in front of the "Bubble" and Kenyon Ice Arena. The natatorium is located in the same building.
